IWC 2025: The Best Value wines

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) has released details of the top ‘Great Value’ wines. Many of them won gold medals and are priced under £15 in UK supermarkets. One gold-medal winning red from Australia is priced under £8.
The judges at the IWC taste all the wines ‘blind’ – so they can’t be influenced by the price or reputation of the producer. It’s the fairest system and allows all genuinely good wines to get noticed, whatever their price point.
