The Judges

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) brings together many of the most important people in the wine world.

Introducing the IWC Co-Chairs

The International Wine Challenge brings together 500+ expert judges from over 40 countries
a line-up of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, senior buyers, winemakers, critics, educators and industry leaders.

It's not just a big panel.
It's a global brain trust representing thousands of hours of tasting experience every year — all focused on one goal: fair, repeatable, trustworthy results.

IWC'S UNIQUE JUDGING

The only major wine competition where every wine is:

Tasted at least twice, on different days
Reviewed and confirmed by a Co-Chair whether it's a medal or deemed not to hit the standard

This multi-stage structure ensures:
✔ fairness
✔ consistency
✔ stable medal standards
= results you can rely on

No other competition combines this diversity of panles, this level of cross-checking and this depth of expertise.
