The International Wine Challenge has launched IWC Americas, with entries now open.

As the first step in the International Wine Challenge's new global structure, IWC Americas has officially launched and is now open for entries.

Supporting this new chapter is a strengthened international leadership team. In the UK, the judging panel will be led by Sam Caporn MW, Peter McCombie MW, Helen McGinn and Dr Jamie Goode. The Americas team comprises Matías Prezioso, Patricio Tapia and Christy Canterbury MW, bringing exceptional regional expertise to the competition.

Meanwhile, Oz Clarke OBE will take on the new role of Judge Emeritus, drawing on decades of experience to support and mentor the next generation of regional leadership.

The IWC Americas judging panels will feature leading retail buyers, distributors, sommeliers and wine critics from across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Canada and the United States, alongside a number of key UK buyers who will travel to the Americas to take part in the judging process.

The International Wine Challenge is recognised around the world as a benchmark for wine quality. In an increasingly competitive global market, an IWC medal provides independent recognition, credibility and commercial value, helping award-winning wines stand out with both trade and consumers.
