Next Steps |
- If you requested an invoice, payment must be received by the IWC in order for wines to be judged.
- As you have chosen to use your own carrier service you are fully responsible for all delivery costs including shipping, customs, taxes, duty and storage. Please do not use the postal system to send samples. They rarely arrive intact and often get delayed at customs. Please use a courier such as DHL, Fed-Ex, UPS etc.
- Contact your delivery agent and arrange a date of delivery to ensure your samples are received in the UK by 4 April 2025.
- Use the table below to ensure you ship the correct number of samples for each wine.
- Print the label attached to this email, write in the details and attach it to your boxes. It is essential that the official IWC address label is attached to every box you ship. Please ensure you send your samples to the address specified on the label.
- Print the Airway Bill attached to this email and give it to your shipping agent to ensure the correct duty is charged.
- All wines must be sent Duty Paid, please ensure to mark the box “shipper accepts all charges”. Please see Shipping page for more details - https://www.internationalwinechallenge.com/shipping-your-wines.html

No Polystyrene please!
The IWC are enthusiastic recyclers. We recycle all leftover wine, corks, glass bottles and cardboard packaging. In the past, all polystyrene packaging waste went to a company that turned it into insulation bricks for homes. However, due to a change in the recycling rules we are unable to recycle this mixed polystyrene.
So we are asking producers to use friendly materials for packaging, such as cardboard inners. Cardboard is easily recyclable.
Please do not send your wines with polystyrene inners. |
