IWC opens its doors for entries!

We have really busted a gut this year to get the competition open for the 1st December and I’m happy to stay the website is alive and kicking and taking entries as  I type. The main reason for the early entry is to save the wine producers and companies  the added VAT that the UK Government is about to levy in January. Why pay the taxman 17.5% in January when it’s ‘only’ 15% now?

Another enticing offer is the Free On Board service we are offering through Geodis Shippers. Provided the wines are delivered to the local Geodis agent, the IWC will handle all shipping costs and headaches with customs on your behalf. This can save you up to £50 per entry and a bagful less of stress, thank you very much! You can view the local Geodis agents here.

Amongst updates from the world of wine, I’ll keep you posted on the joys of entering the IWC in the coming weeks. No point in having a voice on the world wide web if you’re not going to use it to shout about the good things in life!
